YPF facilitates social interaction and networking within the local finance community while dedicating its resources and efforts to the organization’s philanthropic partnerships.
YPF was founded in 2007 to bring together young professionals in Dallas’ finance community. Originally formed with the goal of providing a social and networking platform, the group quickly broadened its focus to incorporate philanthropy and make a meaningful impact on the community and its youth. In 2008, YPF partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas to provide after-school mentoring. Since inception the organization has grown and broadened its philanthropic reach by providing mentoring and college admissions assistance to over 50 high school students each semester. Additionally YPF, has granted over $60,000 in college scholarships for these exceptional students in need.
YPF’s membership base is comprised of over 500 members from leading private equity firms, hedge funds, investment banks, wealth management firms, accounting firms and related professions within the local financial services community. Through fundraising and the collective efforts of its members, YPF intends to continue helping Dallas Boys and Girls Club teens in achieving their goals.
